2024 Horticultural Oils and Insecticide Soaps for Insect & Mite Management
This course discusses the proper use of horticultural oils to manage certain insect and mite pests. Characteristics of effective oils are explained, followed by a discussion of proper timing and technique of applications, and an overview of particular pests that may be successfully controlled using these oils, including some species of aphids, scales, spider mites, and eriophyid mites. This course is recommended for applicators who often manage ornamental insect and mite pests. Published date 2011
